Monte Rio .......The Monte Rio theatre is the hot spot in town, where you can see most new movies but in a historic old theatre house. The theatre has been around since the 60's and the days of hippies in the Guerneville and Monte Rio, where time stands still.

Monte Rio..... is located about 10 miles West of Guerneville, and just a few miles West of Northwood Golf Course.

Monte Rio is this small quaint little town, with a gas station and store, a beach on the Russian River, a couple of small resturants, a little bar called the pink elephant, and the world famous Bohemian grove, Where 2000 of the worlds most famous male politician, and personalities gather on a private 1500 acre redwood grove to blow off steam and be entertained for 4 weeks during the summer.This is a major event in town.

Monte Rio is only a few minutes from Jenner by the sea, and the monuth of the Russian River. This beautiful location gets sun in the summer and rain in the winter and is pretty quite most of the year. It is surrounded by some of the most beautiful redwood groves on the planet. The Russian River runs through the town which is seperated by a small steele bridge. Monte Rio is off the beaten path and pretty laid back, but if you like peace and quite you'll like Monte Rio.
