Welcome To Graton

Graton.......This is a small community that sits between Sebastopol and Forestville on Hwy 116. It's mostly a rural farm and vineyard community.

Graton..... is located approximately 70 miles North of San Francisco, and about 15 miles West of Santa Rosa, just west outside of sebastopol., in the heart of the West County wine country. Graton was originally one of the countries finest apple growing regions, and had it's own apple packing plant in town which employed alot of the locals, it has slowly been replaced by grapes, and the area now produces some of the counties finest.Graton is a small community but is slowly growing into a more modern version of i'self.

There are a couple of resturants, a couple of small businesses, a grocery store and a fire station, and a small community of homes located near and around the center of town. They have some great mexican food, so if you like mexican food you should check out greaton.

Graton is close to Sebastopol, which makes it convienient for shopping, working and entertainment,

There are rivers, and parks and lots of wide open spaces to explore around Graton .The Northern California coastline is not far from Graton, and it is fairly centerally located to the rest of Sonoma County.

Andy's Produce is a great little road side produce stand located on hwy 116 on your right going north out of Sebastopol towards forestville, and guerneville. They have great produce, organic foods, specialty items, fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables, locl berries, and everybody is very freindly and helpful. So If you get a chance drop by Andy's you won't be dissapointed. Andys has been around forever, I think Andy's family opened the store and Andy actually carried on the business, and the family tradition.

If you like peace and quite then you'll like Graton....

but don't expect to much in the way of entertainment in town, because you'll have to go somewhere else for that for the time being, but graton is growing up. So check it out it has rich history and is definitely part of the culture and community of Sonoma County.
