Welcome To Glen Ellen

Glen Ellen ......is legendary as the home of the world famous author "Jack London", this image is bridge he crossed to get to his lodge and home which was in Glen Ellen.

Glen Ellen..... is located approximately 15 miles East of Santa Rosa on hwy 112, heading toward little town of Sonoma in the heart of the Northern California wine country. Glen Ellen is quaint and easy going ,and a preferred place to live, by artists, and musicians.

The Great thing about Glen Ellen is it's location, climate and small town feeling.. It's close to all the fun things in Sonoma County.....

Just Northwest are thousand year old redwood trees at Armstrong Woods , and the famous Russian River,West is the sonoma coast, East is the Town of Sonoma, South to Rohnert Park and Cotati , Petaluma and yet it is surrounded by open country and some of the most beautiful and famous wineries and vineyards in the world.

The image below was taken looking east into the center of town , as you come across the bridge that you see above you it winds around to the Old Grist Mill, is one of the hot spots in town. Jack Londons lodge is located up the road to the right in this picture.

You Can almost feel Jack London walking the streets of Glen Ellen.

Although it looks like a sleepy little town which it is, some great artist have lived and played here. The resturants, stores, quiet atomosphere are fabulous, and the entertainment will surprise you. The scenery is incredible. Its surround by open country and rolling hllis. Jack london park is near by. That is where Jack london lived before his house burned down. It has now been turned into a park and historical location.
