| Bodega
Bay..... is
a bustling little fishing village, about five square miles,
offers fishing, golfing, boat charters, restaurants, horseback
riding and gift shops, and romantic sunsets
Bodega Bay is a favorite place
to view migrating whales from December through March as
well as migrating butterflies during October and November.
You will also want to keep an eye out for Great Blue Herons
and Egrets.
During the summer Bodega Bay
hosts the annual fishermans festival, a celebration of the
sea that includes food, dancing,, games, and an all out
good time.
You can charter fishing boats
out of Bodega Bay to go deep sea fishing, salmon fishing
is a big favorite for most folks, but there are lots of
other fish out there too. It's great fun. The boats leave
early in the moring from the tides resturant at the bay,
and return in the afternoon, depending on what they catch
and how many they catch.
The Tides Wharf,
and Lucas Wharf.
